President Obama,

I doubt you will read this. I voted for you in the last election. I thought that maybe you'd try to make a change. You let me down. You flip flopped on issues and showed you were nothing more than an average politician. I don't affiliate myself with a party because both parties suck. However, I've always voted democrat. I'm done with that. My vote is for Ron Paul. He dosen't flip flop on the issues. We the people demand that you legalize marijuana. I  use it for medical reasons. Ever since I started using it, I have stopped taking the pain pills that I am prescribed. However, the point is, whether it has a medicinal value or not, I can use it. The people are in charge. Dear Mr. President;

　

I would like to introduce myself to you; I am a 51 year old, female, currently living in Hudson, North Carolina. I have been

a long time, diehard republican who voted for you because I believed in you. I believe in what you stand for and all your

hopes and dreams for this country.

 

Unfortunately, in August of 2010, I lost my job through no fault of my own and have been unemployed since. Also, I am newly divorced and have no other income at this time.

I have rheumatoid arthritis as well as lupus and other ailements associated with both. I have not been to a doctor in over a year and am not on any of my prescribed medicines because I cannot afford to see a doctor or pay for my prescriptions.

I have been denied unemployment, medicaid, welfare, disability and any other assistance available. I do

however, receive food stamps.

 

Currently I have exhausted all savings, IRA funds, as well as pawned anything of value.

 

Last Friday, October 21 st I received a call from my Mortgage- Chase Home finance, that I was denied a

mortgage modification and that they are requesting a "short sale" or to start foreclosure proceedings.

Mr. President, I purchased my home 6 years ago and put over 70,000 of inheritence into my home to avoid a large mortgage payment. I hoped to leave my home to my children as I have nothing else left

from my parents. I have an FHA mortgage and they have told me that I need at least l3,000 to make my

mortgage current in order to reapply for a modification.

 

I have been actively looking for work everyday, I have agencies looking as well as friends and family.

I cannot pay what I do not have but am willing to work with my mortgage company anyway possible.

In the interim of this year, I have met someone who now lives with me and is willing to help me with bills

but this enormous deficit is too much. I have requested that they modify my loan and put the deficit at the

end of the loan and am told that they cannot do that.

 

Please Mr. President, don't let them take my home. This is all I have. In this great country of ours I do not

see how this is happening. I have worked all my life. I have paid my bills all along until this terrible tragedy happened. Here in North Carolina there is limited available work and I cannot afford to move to a different state.

I have been asked by friends, " why don't you just move to Canada." i tell people because I am an

American and this is my home!

 

This experience has been very humbling as I come from a fairly affluent upbringing. My former husband also was fairly well off. I have now been on food pantry lines, begging assistance to pay my power bill and gone to bed hungry, scared and hopeless.

Please, I believe in you and what you are trying to do for this country. If there is anything you can do to help please do so.

Dear Mr. Obama, I am not sure if you've seen, this but feel that you need to. Your country is in dire need of your help. We do not care about trying to "get along" with Republicans. We care about our families, our health, our basic lives. You are in a position to actually do something about this. No more bailing out the wealthy. Help the 99%. That other 1% doesn't need your help. We do. We had faith in you. We need the change you promised. Don't let us down. Your re-election won't matter if there is nobody left to vote for you.

Dear Barrack Obama, You cant begin to understand how thankful i am to have you here as our president. I am writing this in order to hopefully have some of my thoughts heard. Though i know you not, i do know, through your disposition and calm attitude, that you value progress over achievement. As do I. Though to you I would seem to be just another high school student in a sea of over-achieving honors students who believe they are to be the next great leaders of America; alas, i stand out like a sore thumb. I will graduate as a senior this year in all AP classes... and yet what does that say about me... it says that at one point in my life i was motivated by fear... that the society tricked me into working hard for nothing so that i may have a good job and an early retirement. Yet now i see clearer every day, understand more, and dream of better realities. It isn't school that is opening my eyes.. it isn't ideological thought.. it isn't routine.. it is the lack therefore of. I have been socially conditioned by my school, my routine, and my society, to accept a limited perspective of reality rooted in fear, to value achievement over progress and perfection, and to be motivated by fear rather than love. But today and everyday hereafter i say no more. Let us not dilly dally any longer Mr president, i know you understand what is coming. The material vibrations of this world have interfered with the eternal, universal vibrations of love that will lead us to a better reality. To one infinite dream of reality. My teachers, classmates, and most of the world is blinded by these material vibrations that bring fear, hate, mistrust, devotion, idealism, and war. When you finally distance yourself from all of this, when you get out into nature, all you can resonate with is love.. yet in this classroom I'm sitting in on a Saturday morning during a 4 hour detention is only making me blind too. Mr president i need your help to change this world and open the hearts of the people. The very system that we have created to instill peace is creating war. The very party systems our nations founders warned against run rampant. How many people have killed in the name of god? when Jesus Christs very teaching told us to make love not war. This entire world is a giant contradiction. Let us realize this and work to change this. Yet still, greed runs rampant, and people who speak of morality only wish to take our freedom. Trust yourself, have confidence that you have all the tools to make the right decisions in life, and resonate with the higher frequency vibrations that are coming in through the cosmos. A change in human consciousness is coming. It starts with those who are awake, and spreads like love into those who are still slumbering. It starts when you open your heart to whats good around you, and then we all begin to work in synchronicity to progress into what we will become. If there's anything i can urge you to do, it is to do nothing. More government is the problem not the solution. As humans we cant possibly create order through idealism. The universe has a natural order to it and we must listen to what it is saying. Education should serve me; i don't serve it. Fear should serve me; i don't serve it. Tradition should serve me; i dont serve it. All of these things are misunderstood.. everything has a purpose, yet when education is holding you back from your true potential, one must realize what is truly important... think on this... i will be sending a letter to you this next week.. Thank you for taking the time to hear my thoughts on everything. I will soon graduate high school and begin my life long journey to spread seeds of love, peace, and harmony one person at a time, to explore the world through myself and my creative pursuits, and to understand how i can better assist us all in our awakening to the eternal nature of our soul. sincerely Adam

Mr Obama: At what point does any person involved in this malfunctioning political machine finally realize that it's time to "Think Outside The Box".....For Real! President Obama, why don't you reach out to the general public (Democrat, Republican and Independent), those with ideas founded on common sense...No Hate....No Blame....No Bias....No Divisive Conversation. Ask nationwide and filter the responses quickly to find a "Diverse" Political View, made of average (non-political) Americans that have some of the best ideas that could be applied to make great changes which we desperately need before the end of your first term. I am a Conservative, but I think you are the President who would even consider such a radical approach. Filter through these ideas and form a diverse group that will work with your office and collaborate to develop a few dozen ideas that they feel will help make the necessary common sense changes to save this Nation from further decline. Allow"Us" the American People" to become more involved in helping to set the political direction for America, with your office as the Senior Leadership for the group to help direct them in fine-tuning their ideas and getting them into place. This can't harm anything, and will most certainly help. Most importantly you will get a flood of fresh new ideas and a sense of involvement that most US Citizens can no longer feel. I'm not saying I should be chosen over others that might have even better ideas, but for those you choose (should you have interest in this program), please be certain you include equally all political points of view (while being certain to leave the radical idealists off the list. President Obama, Why didn't you stand up for us? What kind of "change" is this I'm supposed to be seeing because really... I'm seriously disappointed at your performance lately and why people like me with college educations who live pay check to pay check working several jobs, and can't afford to pay back my school loans, while my husband works as a teacher with below a living wage! Why are you allowing such deep cuts to all of us, when people who are called "job creators" (maybe for outsourcing to other countries because they arn't creating jobs here!) I was just so excited for once about our president. Then I watched you FOLD over EVERYTHING. And watched the Democratic party crumble in front of LUNATICS who want to cut EVERY HUMAN SERVICE That they can. It makes me SICK. (literally because I've been living a decade without health insurance.) Please start standing up for us. - Loosing Hope in any sort of Change.

Dear President Obama, It is hard to believe that in the twenty-first century in America that we have to sit and listen to the nonsense of idiots whose main goal is to have the leader of our great nation fail. They have made a deal with the devil at the cost of Americans. That deal was their souls. When American saw this fresh new face of a man named Barack Obama, we stopped and looked. When you opened your mouth and spoke, speaking of HOPE, TOGETHERNESS, and CHANGE, we listened. It was what we had been waiting for. You energized us and filled our hearts and souls with hope and reasons to believe again that someone had us in his heart and mind. Instead of letting you lead, you had to fight for the everyday battles that would normally run itself. We knew that some were looming in the dark rooms and corners of the nation looking for the devil. They didn't have to look far he was already in them. Sold their souls and signed the contract at the expensive of the American people. But, we as true Americans know they will only enjoy it for awhile. Our God is a mighty God and he will put people like yourself in places to lead his people out of hell holes that the devil's advocates has put us in. Our enemies are not abroad at this time, they are among us. They are our worst enemies , creating crisis after crisis to destroy you. We know that it is not because you are not capable but because leader of America is Black. We can't change history but we can change the present and look forward to the future. Dear President, I voted for you and your promise of change. I am glad i did and would again .The question I have is how long do we have to wait ? We watch our home values drop below what our actual mortgages are. Our 401k plans are still not back to their high point of several years ago. Gas prices are once again near their high. I am one of the fortunate ones because I have a job and even though we struggle to keep it together. We can do it , but for how much longer ? All we hear is negative news. We are are positive people and can find positive signs but non that help our check book . Its becoming very frustrating to say the least.
