missed connection

Mr President, 29 AUG 2011 We are in trouble and you just don't get it.... If I had the power I could get this COUNTRY OF OURS up and running and debt free with out using Medicare and raising Taxes as a SCARE TACTICS and without hurting our kids... if you would just get up and show that you GIVE A DAMN... we don't care who comes up with the idea or why.... And stop trying to turn us into a SOCIALIST GOVERNMENT.... Stop calling SOCIAL SECURITY an ENTITLEMENT PROGRAM, people have put there money into the system and they have earned every penny they have put in it... now your group (SOCIALIST) who have not put a penny in it then yes for them it is an ENTITLEMENT.... also put back the money that has been taken out to pay for other Dem programs... so stand up to the plate and get a backbone and fix the problem.... And if you would like I am willing to sit down with someone and give you the plan to fix all without a super 12.... It makes me proud to be old! I don't get it!I thought you were championing the right for gays to serve in the military, or did I get that wrong?I'm not gay but I see no reason not to let a talented, dedicated, patriotic person who is willing to put his life in harm's way suffer from some kind of bigotry.Here you had the chance to accept the ruling and you let Justice ask to have it set aside.I really have to reconsider my opionion of you. 

Dear Mr. President:I can't believe that you aren't going to give people on Medicare a raise again this year.  How do you expect us to live?   Rent, groceries, and gasoline has gone up so much the past couple of years and medical care too.  The medicare plan benefits have alot more out of pocket costs and people like me who have several illness' and can't hardly make it as it is now.   We paid into the medicare plan all the years that we worked and now the government has borrowed so much from it that we don't get the benefits that we are owed!    Why don't you try to live on a limited amount of money and see how far your money will go.  If the govenment would put back all the money borrowed from Medicare it would be okay.  I know you probably won't even read this but at least I can get it off my mind.  You should have bailed out the people before bailing out the banks and the economy would be thriving right now! Sheila  From FloridaI voted for you and I am sorry I did now.

Dear Mr. President:I have often wondered what I would write you.  I sitting in the computer room in my cousin's house and I am deeply troubled.  Troubled because there are soooo many things going on in New Orleans that words cannot completely express.  Yet, people in position of high authority act like things have improved. In fact, I believe they are worse. My daughter attends an inner city school and she is stuck there because none of the school meet standard educational requirements.  They say that I have the right of choice of school and turn around and write notices that say no public school student can transfer from a school once registered - GO FIGURE?My dad faught for rights of people.  The goal to fight for the rights of persons treated less than human became a struggle about whites and blacks.  The struggle was human rights across the board.  My dad died in 2008, he did not get to see you accept your presidency.  When he was alive you all invited him to be the grand chaplain of the march in Virginia, but noone bothered to invite his family to sit in his seat on the day you were inaugurated.  Am I angry?  No, disappointed.My dad became disillusioned by the organization he spent 50 years of his life supporting. They turned their back on him, for an alleged rapist and a suspected thieving minister.  it hurt his heart.  I think that was one of the reasons he go a stroke and then died, subsequently.My family have seen taxing times since my dad passed.  They have been extremely hard, but we survive because my dad wont have it any other way.Stay a great man of God, the Higher Power.  You will always be a man of promise and will all ways be THAT ONE!Stay focused!About healthcare:  As long as the dollar is taxed sooo high for individuals and people to be treated for their illness, you will have problems seeing what seems to be passing law.
