You, Mr. Obama, have restored my faith in the American Dream
Dear President Obama, I would like to begin by congratulating you on surviving the longest election, ever! I'm so glad it's over and that the Forces of Good prevailed. Your win has inspired so many Americans, like myself to dream again.
For eight long years, the majority of my adult life, I lived in fear of my government, disdain for my President, and with the certainty that this country had lost it's way. But you, Mr. Obama have restored my faith in the American Dream. Your victory has brought a breath of fresh air to a stagnant environment that was created by Bush and his Henchmen. Thank you for having the courage to lead. Thank you for having the courage to dream. Now that you are the President of this great country, I hope that you continue to have the same courage of conviction, as you did while in the Senate and during your campaign. Please don't let the power corrupt you. This is my biggest fear. Many a great man has fallen for his love of power, but I have faith that you will not fall prey to the temptations of your new post in life. You are inheriting a big mess, I can't imagine the burden you will carry. But don't let it overwhelm you. Take it one step at a time. Many will be pushing and shoving to get what they want from you, but I believe that you will do what is most important for the people of this country. As for those who don't like the idea of you being the President, to hell with them. History will prove that you were what this ailing nation needed. Don't forget the people who put you in office. Mr.President, I am so sorry to interrupt you during your busy work schudale but im concerned about the future of Youngstown Early College.Recently Governor Strickland has cut Early College off the state budget. Mr.President please ask Gov.Strickland to add Early College back on the budget.Not only does Early college give you the opportunity to graduate from its school but allow you to earn an Assocciates Degree before you even reach college ,and it also gives you an opportunity to go to Youngstown State University.Please Mr.Prsident HELP US!!!!!.
