Visit to The White House

Dear President Obama,

(My Commander-in-Chief)

Although this is the third time, I've written to you and yours

I've usually given kudos.  Deservedly so, for sure.

But not this time, dear President, because I want something in return

I watched the news this morning and guess what I did learn

You had B.B. King at the White House, you lucky duck, (quack, quack)

Although I, too, am a fan of his,  right now, it's not where I'm at

I've been trying for ten years now for an autograph from my all

He used to be a Beatle, you probably know him as Paul

Lord, I've really loved that man, for longer than I've loved you

And if you'd do me this one big favor, I'll tell you what I'll do

I'll try to leave you alone.  No more letters from me

You know, it's out of true respect.  Surely, that, you can see

But, I'll stop writing kudo letters and really try to leave you alone

Well, except for holidays and birthdays.  Come on, throw me a bone.

So, if and when you invite my Paul, if he's someone you want to meet

P.S.  I am an Air Force veteran with 20 years honorable service and 100% disability.  Although I have permanent, short-term memory loss, I will take pictures and document the visit so I will remember it, treasure it and keep my promise.  BTW, I'm not "special", just passionately determined in a child-like way.
