Approval of President Obama

Apr
10

President Obama,
You have handled yourself with such dignity any one else would have been pointing the finger at the true culprit in this whole fiasco. You just dug in and got to work without ever giving credit where credit was due, meaning The President before you! You have Romney and all these other people pointing fingers and talking all their trash but it was one of their own who got us here in the first place.

Why is it that till today no one brings up the subject of what Bush did to Iraq, he invaded a country based on a lie. To this day I've still to hear a Republican speak of what their last member in office did, but they chose to blame You for all of those mistakes.

You didn't take this country to war and you weren't asleep at the wheel on 9/11 ! This country is were it is because of republicans driving the car, and they obviously can't drive. Coming from someone who see's things for what they really are , President Obama You've Done One Hell Of A Job, Considering What The Not So Very American President Before You Did!!!!! Why is it that a case of crimes against humanity is not in order for the invasion of Iraq based on the weapons of mass destruction lie Bush told All Of America? And McCain said in a speech that Iraq would be a 100 year war. You've already gotten us out of the mess the republicans created. We Believed in You when we Voted For You The First Time & We Believe In You Still To This Day. Read more about Approval of President Obama

I'm scared. Are we really turning in to a socialist country?

Oct
21

Dear Mr. President,

Why do you think so many people call you a socialist? Do you think it's because it's true? Does this worry you? Have you considered that maybe you should step down as president and let someone who believes in the constitution run this country? I think socialism is fine, if you live in a socialist country, however, this is not. We are supposed to be free, and you are supposed to protect that. Get all of the nasty lawyers out of the mix and employ more people who care about the future, and values of this country instead of instant gratification and greed. Please stand up for our freedom. And one last thing, Mr. President, please stop giving raises to your employees during a recession. We can all read online about how many of your employees are now making over $150,000 a year, when they were not making that before the recession. You are stealing money from people and giving it to your government employees. That is wrong, as in, that is criminal, as in jail worthy. Is it not?

Thank you for your time. Have a nice day.

Suggestion

Sep

Dear Mr. Obama, I know it's been a while, since you've sat down with folks, who are good, hard-working, honest and truthful(you know the kind of people, that you actually have nothing in common with). dBut here's a suggestion anyhow, "On How To Fix The U.S. Economy" First things first, I would ACTUALLY ELECT AMERICANS, Who have had a positive experience within the Private Sector of our economy. I Would Elect AMERICANs to the "CBO" who've in past areas of performance, shown that they can actually create employment, and stimulate the economy while putting in place a program that builds on top of a positive foundation for continued growth. This would impress me a whole lot more than the radical individuals besidse yourself, whom constantly, Lie, steal, and cheat, the american people out of their futures. Mr. Obama if you ask me, I think it's been past time for your administration the turn in the keys to the oval office and vacate the premisis. You've done a HORRIBLE JOB AS PRESIDENT. Your antics and political postering, have already cost my children their futures. Based on this information, their are any americans besides my self, who believe we can't afford to let you cost us the lives of our UNBORN GRANDCHILDREN so we will VOTE YOU OUT! If you want to hear Americans, it's time for you to listen to people who are GOOD, HONEST, HARD-WORKING, Surround Your self with people who are not at all like you, then and only then, will you proably stand a chance of Americans listening to the many constant and annoying lies that you've spoken since being elected. By The way Mr. President, what's your excuse for the economy now, You can't blame this on George Bush, this mess you created is ALL YOU!

My 2 cents

Obama, I will never Vote Democrat again in my lifetime, not only did you give everything to the Republicans. Now I will give them my Vote & Money. This is America and right or wrong, nobody likes a loser. The Democrats and you are losers. Might as well let the ASS******, be in charge totally and see where they want to take the country. I would rather be on the winning team, even if I disagree, almost with everything they do. I will reshape my thinking to fall in line with them

Political Parties Have Forgotten

Feb
25
Dear Mr. President, I am very tired of how both political parties are behaving. They are acting like children! They have forgotten WHY the American government was created. They have forgotten WHO they are representing....the American Public, not themselves, not their special interests. They have forgotten that they are to be serving the American public, not foreign countries, or people here illeagally. They have forgotten the many lives lost to allow us to have our American government. They have forgotten how to be respectful, even if you disagree, to listen to someone else and consider what they are saying before speaking. They have forgotten common decency, to be kind to one another, to help one another. How can we expect our country, especially our youth to behave in these forgotten ways, when all they see from our government is the bad behavior? How can we expect foreign countries to treat us with respect and common decency, when we are not even treating each other this way? Maybe since they want to act like children, they should be treated like children. Maybe they should be sent back to school, the schools they are cutting funding from. Maybe they should have to relearn American History. Maybe the need to be reminded of WHY they are in office, HOW they got to be in office. Maybe they need to go to team building classes, so they can learn to work together as a team. Maybe they need to be grounded from their perks of government cars, extra privelages etc.... until they can behave like they deserve them. Maybe they need to be reminded, if you leave work, you don't get paid. If you can't do your job, you will be replaced. Unfortunetly, I think our government has forgotten history, and are doomed to repeat it, over and over. Unfortunetly, we the American People, will suffer from it. We can not effect change like you want until our government can CHANGE their behavior. I hope this letter is read and pondered. I hope this letter can inspire CHANGE in what is going on in my country. This was once a great country that everyone wanted to come to. Soon, it will be no different than many of the countries needing aide and support from us. But who will be there to bail us out..... Sincerly, Mrs. Angi Toth

Dear Barack,  I Know You Are Probably A Decent Guy At Heart. But You Need To Stop Working For Wall Street. You Need To Realize That Us Americans Are Hip To The Fact That You Care About Corporate Expansion More Than Our Lives, Which Is Disgusting And Inhumane. I am Sure That You Also Know That The Goons You Really Work For Want Us Dead And Are Funding And Participating In Global Depopulation, Which Is Also Disgusting And Inhumane. How Would You Like It If Your Children Suffered From Chemical And/Or Biological Warfare? Please Start Working For The People And Stop Lying To Our Faces.

Give me Bipartisanship...

Jan

Dear Mr. President: You are no doubt one of the most charismatic speakers I have ever heard.  I say that as a public speaker and speech coach.  I knew when I first haard you that you would eventually become President.  You did, and it came as no surpise to me even though I am basicallly a conservative republican.  However, I am terribly disappointed with your inability to work across party lines.  Blame the Republicans if you must, but don't blame them for not reaching out.  I believe they have.  The arrogance of those in your party is very disappointing to me.  As President, it is your duty to really reach out to those who oppose you.  Actions speak louder than words, Mr. President.  Show "we, the people" that you are really interested in listening to the opposition, and you may win some of us over to your way of thinking.  I do not feel that socialism is the path we want to take at the present time.  Spending us into bankruptcy is also not the path we need take now or at any other time.  You may call it progressive, but I call it regressive.  I am not alone in my assessment. Now is the hour for all of us to work together for common causes.  Spending us into oblivion is not the answer.  Neither is the "taxing the rich" philosophy.  There must be a better middle ground.  To cut costs, it might be wise if those of you in office set the example by cutting your own salaries and perks considertably.  Some of the newly elected ones are already doing this.  Their examples will not go unnoticed.  In the long run, giving ground will work much better than throwing dirt.  Don't be afraid to make concessions.  The office you save could easily be your own. Respectfully, Kenneth

I'm Tired

Jun

President Obama,   Mr. Hall is far more eloquent than many of us.  In case you didn’t have an opportunity to read his comments on your Blackberry, perhaps this “hard copy” will provide you the opportunity.  He has expressed well the thoughts of many.      Snopes.com confirms that the following message, currently circulating on the internet, is properly attributed to Mr. Hall.   Robert A. Hall is the actor who plays the coroner on CSI if you watch that show.  This should be required reading for every man, woman and child in the United States of America.   Robert A. Hall is the actor who plays the coroner on CSI if you watch that show.  This should be required reading for every man, woman and child in the United States of America.   "I'm 63 and Im Tired"by Robert A. Hall  I'm 63.  Except for one semester in college when jobs were scarce and a six-month period when I was between jobs, but job-hunting every day, I've worked, hard, since I was 18. Despite some health challenges, I still put in 50-hour weeks, and haven't called in sick in seven or eight years. I make a good salary, but I didn't inherit my job or my income, and I worked to get where I am. Given the economy, there's no retirement in sight, and I'm tired. Very tired.     I'm tired of being told that I have to "spread the wealth" to people who don't have my work ethic. I'm tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy to earn it.     I'm tired of being told that I have to pay more taxes to "keep people in their homes."  Sure, if they lost their jobs or got sick, I'm willing to help. But if they bought McMansions at three times the price of our paid-off, $250,000 condo, on one-third of my salary, then let the left-wing Congress-critters who passed Fannie and Freddie and the Community Reinvestment Act that created the bubble help them with their own money.     I'm tired of being told how bad America is by left-wing millionaires like Michael Moore, George Soros and Hollywood Entertainers who live in luxury because of the opportunities America offers. In thirty years, if they get their way, the United States will have the economy of Zimbabwe, the freedom of the press of China, the crime and violence of Mexico, the tolerance for Christian people of  Iran , and the freedom of speech of  Venezuela .   I'm tired of being told that Islam is a "Religion of Peace," when every day I can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives and daughters for their family "honor"; of Muslims rioting over some slight offense; of Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they aren't "believers"; of Muslims burning schools for girls; of Muslims stoning teenage rape victims to death for "adultery"; of Muslims mutilating the genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur'an and Shari'a law tells them to.     I'm tired of being told that "race doesn't matter" in the post-racial world of Obama, when it's all that matters in affirmative action jobs, lower college admission and graduation standards for minorities (harming them the most), government contract set-asides, tolerance for the ghetto culture of violence and fatherless children that hurts minorities more than anyone, and in the appointment of U.S. Senators from Illinois.     I think it's very cool that we have a black president and that a black child is doing her homework at the desk where Lincoln wrote the Emancipation Proclamation. I just wish the black president was Condi Rice, or someone who believes more in freedom and the individual and less arrogantly of an all-knowing government.     I'm tired of a news media that thinks Bush's fundraising and inaugural expenses were obscene, but that think Obama's, at triple the cost, were wonderful; that thinks Bush exercising daily was a waste of presidential time, but Obama exercising is a great example for the public to control weight and stress; that picked over every line of Bush's military records, but never demanded that Kerry release his; that slammed Palin, with two years as governor, for being too inexperienced for VP, but touted Obama with three years as senator as potentially the best president ever. Wonder why people are dropping their subscriptions or switching to Fox News?  Get a clue. I didn't vote for Bush in 2000, but the media and Kerry drove me to his camp in 2004.     I'm tired of being told that out of "tolerance for other cultures" we must let Saudi Arabia use our oil money to fund mosques and mandrassa Islamic schools to preach hate in America, while no American group is allowed to fund a church, synagogue or religious school in  Saudi Arabia  to teach love and tolerance.     I'm tired of being told I must lower my living standard to fight global warming, which no one is allowed to debate. My wife and I live in a two-bedroom apartment and carpool together five miles to our jobs. We also own a three-bedroom condo where our daughter and granddaughter live. Our carbon footprint is about 5% of Al Gore's, and if you're greener than Gore, you're green enough.     I'm tired of being told that drug addicts have a disease, and I must help support and treat them, and pay for the damage they do. Did a giant germ rush out of a dark alley, grab them, and stuff white powder up their noses while they tried to fight it off? I don't think Gay people choose to be Gay, but I damn sure think druggies chose to take drugs. And I'm tired of harassment from cool people treating me like a freak when I tell them I never tried marijuana.     I'm tired of illegal aliens being called "undocumented workers," especially the ones who aren't working, but are living on welfare or crime. What's next?  Calling drug dealers, "Undocumented Pharmacists"?  And, no, I'm not against Hispanics. Most of them are Catholic, and it's been a few hundred years since Catholics wanted to kill me for my religion.  I'm willing to fast track for citizenship any Hispanic person, who can speak English, doesn't have a criminal record and who is self-supporting without family on welfare, or who serves honorably for three years in our military.... Those are the citizens we need.     I'm tired of latte liberals and journalists, who would never wear the uniform of the Republic themselves, or let their entitlement-handicapped kids near a recruiting station, trashing our military. They and their kids can sit at home, never having to make split-second decisions under life and death circumstances, and bad mouth better people than themselves. Do bad things happen in war?  You bet. Do our troops sometimes misbehave?  Sure. Does this compare with the atrocities that were the policy of our enemies for the last fifty years and still are?  Not even close.  So here's the deal. I'll let myself be subjected to all the humiliation and abuse that was heaped on terrorists at Abu Ghraib or Gitmo, and the critics can let themselves be subject to captivity by the Muslims, who tortured and beheaded Daniel Pearl in Pakistan, or the Muslims who tortured and murdered Marine Lt. Col. William Higgins in Lebanon, or the Muslims who ran the blood-spattered Al Qaeda torture rooms our troops found in Iraq, or the Muslims who cut off the heads of schoolgirls in Indonesia, because the girls were Christian. Then we'll compare notes. British and American soldiers are the only troops in history that civilians came to for help and handouts, instead of hiding from in fear.     I'm tired of people telling me that their party has a corner on virtue and the other party has a corner on corruption. Read the papers; bums are bipartisan. And I'm tired of people telling me we need bipartisanship. I live in Illinois, where the "Illinois Combine" of Democrats has worked to loot the public for years. Not to mention the tax cheats in Obama's cabinet.     I'm tired of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers and politicians of both parties talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthful mistakes, when we all know they think their only mistake was getting caught. I'm tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or poor.     Speaking of poor, I'm tired of hearing people with air-conditioned homes, color TVs and two cars called poor. The majority of Americans didn't have that in 1970, but we didn't know we were "poor." The poverty pimps have to keep changing the definition of poor to keep the dollars flowing.     I'm real tired of people who don't take responsibility for their lives and actions. I'm tired of hearing them blame the government, or discrimination or big-whatever for their problems.     Yes, I'm damn tired. But I'm also glad to be 63. Because, mostly, I'm not going to have to see the world these people are making. I'm just sorry for my granddaughter.    Sincerely,   C C Crittenden 5123 Wedgefield Rd Granbury, TX 76049-4038        Robert  A. No change just cover ups...

Apr

although I am sure that Obama personally will not see this. I just wanted to say I refuse to pay for others mistakes or accidents. I do not understand how my hard earned money can go to someone to pay for an abortion. This topic is so sensitive and I do not feel that anyone has the right to decide that everyone should pay for people that do not know self control or how to use  condom or birth control... Our voice is being lost and it seems that no one especially our Leader of the United States even cares! I have never been so disappointed in the federal government as I am now. So, when will our voice be heard and when will our voice provide a change that is not done by being sneaky or cheating the system. Be a man Obama and not some one who thinks they can get a with it because of their good looks or money. You are what is wrong with this country right down to your fancy dates that you take your wife on while millions of children are starving on the streets... I cannot wait till your term is up and over with!
