Dear President Barack Obama,

I would like to know if it's possible to pass a law in regards to having 3 point restraint seat belts required for all the children that rides the school bus...especially along the highways! 22 million children rides the school bus and by law, kids on bikes must wear helmets, and in cars kids must be secured in an approved safety restraint at all times. So it may be a surprise to learn that federal law does not require seat belts on most school buses. Why should we wait for another fatal accident before we decide that the safety of these children should be more important. Let's make a difference before we lose another child for a law that should have been passed years ago that would help save the lives of our children. I already mentioned it to Congressman Bill Posey, Senator Thad Altman and Bill Posey they also agreed that this will be a great idea and will help support this issue to help protect the lives of our children and grandchildren. The funds for this process I believe should come from either the lottery or taxpayers which I'm sure everyone wouldn't disagree to help save the lives of their OWN children that's riding the school buses each day...thank you!

I have been a loyal American since the day I was born in 1956. I know you personnally will never read this letter because I am not an iportant person like yourself or the people you work so close with. Once in awhile it would be nice to actually hear from someone like you. Especially, since you were once (like us little people).

If Tryvon was Mexican White, or Korean, etc., besides Black, would this be such a big news deal? I think not. I come from a diversified family and we all feel that this is just another BLACK concern..... Thnk about it..... How many other children, parents, etc., are killed due to the so=called interference ("watch program"). Because this child was black, everyone else is to blame? I hoped you would actually help us, but since I lost my good paying job in 2010 and am now working at Wal-Mart (glad to have a job, hope your children have one some day too), I am beginning to feel like you are just like all the rest of the "high paying democratic diplomatics" I have come to not like. I was always a democratic, but of late, have had a hard time feeling like that is the right party.

Hello President Obama,

I am writing about my brother a Veteran of Vietnam. He left at 17 years old to a war that no one wanted hear about it, thinking will go away by not speaking about it. I wonder how the Goverment forget about their war veterans whose live's were changed forever. He fought for the liberty that some people take for granted. He was treated poorly by the people that should have been proud for his courage to decide to join the military ranks that other avoided or were afraid to go fight for their Country. My brother experienced agent orange and probably many other things I do not know, solitude that comes from being detached from his family, experience terror - he wake's up screaming at night maybe looking for the soldier that is hidding or wants to kill him, is my interpretation of what I hear and feel from his screaming. He is staying with me until he finds a place to call his home. He feels this Goverment have betrayed him, has not take action on his behave - does not defend him like he defended our Country. I wonder why?

He has multiple physical issues as well as emotional. I wonder when his pain will stop.I think emotional pain is worst than physical. I could talk about all the things he has experienced and are documented at the Veterans hospital, but I just wonder if this letter will be read , if there will be an outcome by expressing for my brother what I think he is feeling. He does not know I am writing this letter.

Dissapointment is very hard to forget and overcome.

As Comander and Chief aren't you responsible for the well being of the military personal not just while in duty but when are retired? I do not think that responsibility should stop after retirement. Aren't they to experience a better life for all the things they gave up while serving their Country?. I have read of Veterans that are homeless isn't that shameful. We celebrate Veterans Day once a year but we forget about them the rest of the year. My brother is proud for the service provided. Why we cut corner's or money when they deserve every penny for the duties they endured.

My brother believed in you as President, he now questions it. I believe in you. I just want someone to assist my brother . The Veterans Administration in Florida has failed him. Would you help?

Dear Mr. President:

I realize that the most recent policy dealing with electronic savings bonds was meant to decrease paperwork and reduce manual labor. However, as a person would likes to give formal paper certificates as gifts to my children, grandchildren, relatives and friends I feel that your current bond policy is a disappointment. I cannot feel comfortable just knowing just that the bond recipient has the bond filed electronically in their name. Therefore, I will no longer purchase saving bonds.

I talk with many people who feel the same way about not purchasing electronic bonds. In the current economy with the huge Government Debt, why would the Government risk losing such a large source of income by not providing for paper bonds. Why not give the bond purchaser a choice of either paper or electronic bonds?

I ask you to reconsider.

Dear President Obama,

As a young adult, I am becoming very interesting in smoking weed.  Seeing you have no intentions or thought of this, I thought I'd put it into your head.

Weed has already been legalized in the Netherlands.  Why not here?  Honestly, it being illegal, yet legal for medical purposes, is the most outrageous thing I've ever heard.  People should be educated on Cannibus.  It is not a drug.  It is an herb and a flower, and is not mentally addicting.  Physically addicting, yes, it's possible, but it's also possible with Doritos.  God put marijuana here.  If he did not intend for it to be used as an inhalent, then why is it here? Who is the government to say we can't use God's creation?
