I PAY FOR TAXES AS MOST AMERICANS DO IN OUR COUNTRY . BUT THE GOVT . IS PAYING FOR ARMY FAMILIES TO HAVE UNNECESSARY PLASTIC SURGERY. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.

I KNOW A LOT OF YOUNG GIRLS THAT ARE GETTING BREAST IMPLANTS, LIPOSUCTION , ARM LIFTS, FILLERS AND SO ON – JUST FOR LOOKS. PLASTIC SURGERY SHOULD ONLY BE FOR MEN AND WOMEN THAT HAS GOT HURT SERVING OUR COUNTRY OR HEALTH PROBLEMS.

Dear President Barack Obama,

I hope and you can help. How can you seriously fine poor people for not having health insurance? That is way out there. Are you serious? if I can not afford health insurance now, how do think I can pay a fine?

So now, on top of no health insurance now you want to make me pay a fine? That is so sad. This is not my fault that the government cannot keep their money straight and take care of all the homeless people. I can not afford a fine
and then on top of it have the money to even look for health insurance. Do you know how expensive it is? I guess not! You have money. All the top government people have money.

I am so poor and need to have a basic surgery but I have to pay out of pocket before surgery, and tell me how to make this work? I know your ad says nothing personal, but I have no choice but to pour my heart out to you.

I just can't believe that then you are going to make us pay a fine for NOT HAVING HEALTH INSURANCE! This is not my fault the economy is bad! Please do not add another debt onto me.

I'm a child without medical coverage all of my life only because my father was a veteran.

If it had been my mother who was in the war, all my birth defects would be covered. How can this be just?

I'm Catherine, and I want justice for all of the children of veterans who were denied coverage. Why? Because it was our fathers who fought for what the government told them to do. And they did it with pride until they came home.

Dear President Barack Obama,

I have come across an issue that is costing all insurance companies including Medicare a great deal of money which in most cases could be reduced drastically. As a patient who need CPAP breathing machine for the rest of my life I was dumb founded to here that a $500 machine is leased in a form that one year lease will exceed the cost of the machine. The same goes for other equipment such as wheelchair that leases for $30+ a mount for a wheelchair that costs $200.

The math is simple and if you consider the other leased medical equipment the amount of the money being spend in "Lease" versus "Buy" will be astronomical. I am sure the medical equipment companies would not be very happy with any action against leasing, but who cares they are not going to be the first or the last.

Dear President Barack Obama,

I live in Klamath Falls Oregon, I can only drive the 75 miles one way to get groceries etc. once a month because the gas prices are so high.

Today I made my monthly trip and the price of gas was $4.25/gallon. Every night I listen to the news and it says GAS PRICES HAVE FALLEN AGAIN. Why not in Oregon?

Help! Please do something. We are really hurting. To make the necessary doctors appointments are not being done (gas too high). The 150 mile round trip for us is beyond our capability.

Dear President Barack Obama:

I am 53 years old and disable since 2008 due to breast cancer. I've worked all my life payed my taxes and now I am unable to work due to other health problems. My husband was a Marine who served this country for 18 years very proudly, it was his life. We had three children together. His name was Louis. I lost him in 2007 due to massive lung cancer which he developed during his time in the services. Then I was diagnosed with cancer . I applied for disablity and was denied four times because of my age. I am not 62, the age required to receive benefits. I am unemployed. I have no medical because I have no small babies, so I don't qualify for aid to help me pay for my medication which cost's about 400.00 a month which I must take for five years.

No means of income to help me live. It's been really hard during these hard economy times. I don't understand how social security can deny me help. If I can go to work I would. I also have a broken rib that can't be healed so it's hard for me to do the simple task to make my day. I've had lawyers on this since 2008 and that didn't help me at all so it's been really hard to except the way Social Security Administration regulations work.

I am stuck in the middle with no were to turn for help. I'm afraid that I may not see 62 years old. I'm alone, scared with no places to call my own and money to live a normal life. All I need is to get some of what I've pay on all my life for working and paying taxes and medical which now they are denying me.

PLEASE HELP ME? What can I do? I feel like I have no purpose, as if I lived for whom? I worry about my children which are grown but how can I assure them that they wouldn't have to go begging to bury me because I can't even afford a simple life Insurances.

I live in California. My kids live in North Carolina and the youngest live in Pennsylvania. All these things matters are not good for my health. I am in need of the government's help to be able to exist. Today you are visiting George Clooney. I wish I can meet you in person. I believe in you as leader for our county because you are for the people, a TRUE leader with a heart and understanding of our civil rights to live comfortably because we work so hard all our lives. I pray you get another term cause the battle has only just started. Our rights and our lives are mostly judged by how we chose to be happy or limited by age, health and so on. Dear President Barack Obama:

I am a Nurse in the state of Texas. I was there today when DAD [Dept of Aging and Disability] came to my folks home and told my 78 year old Father and my 75 year old Mama that because they OWN the 14 acres of land that their HOME is on,they can't even have a Home Health provider come in. My Dad has COPD and Emphysema he is on oxygen 24 hours continuously.

I think this is going to get a lot personal but my Grandpa built the house that my parents live in and my daddy was born in that same house. President Barack Obama, you tell me that you could let everything go to the state when every single memory you have is and has always been of a wisteria vine that your Grandma planted and how a child used to walk a field with her Grandpa and how we still have have the same doors that my grandparents touched.

I am really sorry that our country, which I love so much, is in shape the shape it IS in. But the men of my family have always honored and defended our country. I voted for you four years ago Sir and you will have my vote again.

Dear President Barack Obama,
I am writing you with deep concern for out health care system, I have insurance and was recently hospitalized I was in a semi-private room with another man who had no insurance other than medicaid and we were talking and to my surprise he had no co payments to make on either for hospital care or co payments for medicine, as for myself I have both.

I had colon cancer this time last year and I am recovering very well. In December 2011, I was in the hospital for a blood clot due to the cancer and a third time for hypertension and a chronic back problem. I am in debt to the hospitals and doctors so much I can't pay the bills left over that my insurance will not pay.

My credit rating is going to be ruined and I may lose everything. I only live on Social Security Disability benefits with thousands of bills to pay I don't know how I will make it, my income is only about $1500.00 how can I pay and live, buy food and shelter?

While the other man I mentioned in the beginning of this letter has nothing to pay and all his bills are covered–this isn't right! To get sick even with insurance and lose everything that you accumulated in your life and ruin your credit score because you were unfortunate and became sick it just isn't right!

Dear President Barack Obama,

This is so annoying to think my father who has a terminal illness and needs a transplant right away can't even get social security.

My father has been a hard worker all his life and even though he needs a liver transplant he has never been a drinker. He has worked all his life–two jobs–and has never gotten any government help. And, now that he is not working and needs the help they denied him.

My question is do you have to be a Fu@@ing drug addict to get medicaid in this country or a killer of another human being to get peoples' donations?

It is truly unjust for the good people who work their asses off. We just want him to get a good medical treatment and get on a transplant list the doctors said that without medicaid it be impossible, but we won't give up. The social security system needs to be fixed–or stop taking our money.

Dear President Barack Obama,

Hi. I would like you to give President Obama this message. I am a Democrat and have contributed to the reelection campaign. I also worked for McGovern in the 1972 election in Springfield, Illinios. But I am very concerned with how our veterans are being treated under this administration.

A friend of mine needs knee surgery. The orthopedic surgeon at Mather Veterans Hospital told him that had he come in a couple of days earlier, surgery would have been scheduled immediately. But now, because of new directives, surgery could not be scheduled until all other options had been exhausted. The man is in continuous pain! Instead, the orthopedic surgeon prescribed nine Tylenol tablets a day for three months. My friend followed this regimen religiously and when the three months were finished, he was told to take more Tylenol!

If three months of nine Tylenol tablets a day didn’t help, how could even more help? But still no surgery has been recommended. This is insane – are the doctors so cowed by administrators that they are willing to damage the kidneys and livers of vets rather than do an outpatient surgery?

I don't know whether this results from the bureaucracy of the Mather Veterans Hospital, emanates from the Veterans Administration or results from new policies coming from the White House. But wherever all this is coming from, someone needs to take a second look and start treating our veterans with the respect they deserve for their service. This is not the only situation I know of – another veteran in Elk Grove is in extreme pain from a hernia and has been told that surgery will not be scheduled for at least six months. Again, this is no way to treat our veterans!

I have been an ardent supporter of the new health care act BUT if this is the way it will be run, I don’t want it anymore. If bureaucrats instead of doctors are making decisions that leave our veterans in such straits, what will it be like for the general populace? Too many times, I have heard the argument that Medicare and Veterans health Care are evidence that the Federal government can do a good job of managing health care. Well, this is evidence that at least the Veteran's hospitals are not good examples.
