Dear President Barack Obama:

Here's an example of Essex county's plight. MY wife and my self lost our apartment. She gets SSI and I'm drawing unemployment We went to welfare to ask for emergency help to pay back rent, here's what happened. First the looked at her income which gross is $585.00 and I receive $164.00 every two weeks––that's after child support. They say our combined income is above the standards for emergency help. My rent for a one bedroom for us was $705.00. When we moved into our apartment SSI gross was $851.00. Due to overpayment claims we no longer could afford our apartment. After the first few months in the apartment I had to apply for food stamp assistance. A little while after I was evicted from this apartment and gone back to welfare for further assistance , where I was stopped with a big denial of GA, and or Emergency assistance.

Mind you while all this is taking place I'm in night school trying to go back to college. My major problem is that they said we make too much money for any kind of help.

MY wife has mental instability and I lost my JOB now that I need help for us we sleep in the street. I'm sorry to say the system failed us and many like us . My Name is Anthony. Please end the NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND. It is a waste of time and money and leaves children behind every year. Please just have someone look into it and survey people about it and let the citizens and PARENTS vote on it.

The following is a sincere plea to the city of Pomona, California to allow good people the right to their freedom of choice and the right to gather as a collective and make exchange as expressed by the will of the People of California via Prop. 215.

President Barack Obama, four years ago I campaigned hard for you, believing all the while that you truly were going to help medical cannabis patients. You were nothing more than a big disappointment. Never the less you're still my choice for President and you have my support.

I don't think I will be putting in the hours like I did fours years ago, but you have my support! With that said, President Barack Obama, again the following is our approach to doing the right thing!

Dear President Barack Obama,

I've read a lot of the letters that have been sent to you about same sex marriage. I don't understand why you go around telling us that you are a christian when you are not! A REAL christian knows that it is a sin to be gay. You have sold your soul for more votes just so you can stay in the white house longer. I think you should remember that you are going to have to answer to a higher power one day and that's God himself.

You have now broken one of the biggest laws and that's God's law, It is a SIN to be gay. And everyone knows that but yet some are still for it and they try and say they are Christian just like you do.

And You say you've had a change of heart for gay marriage. And while you may have had a changed your mind God NEVER will. It's always been a sin and it always will be. You have now lost my and my whole family's support and as well
as a lot of Christians in the US and also other places. That may not seem like a lot of votes to you but they will add up when that time comes.

As a Christian I think you have made the WORST decision of your life and your career as President of the US. You have disappointed GOD and those who supported you. You are now an abomination. It's bad enough that your letting gays in the army, now they're going to be every where!

I'm sure that now that you're in favor of this disgrace you will be voted out– and maybe you should be.

I hope and you can help. How can you seriously fine poor people for not having health insurance? That is way out there. Are you serious? if I can not afford health insurance now, how do think I can pay a fine?

So now, on top of no health insurance now you want to make me pay a fine? That is so sad. This is not my fault that the government cannot keep their money straight and take care of all the homeless people. I can not afford a fine
and then on top of it have the money to even look for health insurance. Do you know how expensive it is? I guess not! You have money. All the top government people have money.

I am so poor and need to have a basic surgery but I have to pay out of pocket before surgery, and tell me how to make this work? I know your ad says nothing personal, but I have no choice but to pour my heart out to you.

I just can't believe that then you are going to make us pay a fine for NOT HAVING HEALTH INSURANCE! This is not my fault the economy is bad! Please do not add another debt onto me.

I can't believe what I am reading and hearing. Is it true that Gay marriage is more important to you then the people of California? I guess if it means more money to the government, it would be true. How can you do this to people? It is nice to have a salary telling people what to do with such little though.

I am an IT, CIO Director and am disgusted with the way things have turned out in this country. Keep it up! Credit rating down, unemployment and crime up. And now you're flying to Nevada for Gay Rights? Sounds like YOUR priorities are backwards. I know I will not receive a reply, nor a phone call back, nor a "Sorry you're unemployed, you're worthless" from you, but having to see what the people are going through so that you can have a better gain on the paperwork.

Sorry, unemployment is but a fraction of the expenses you have to pay out, most of the others being useless, but who am I to judge? I am just a citizen of this whacked country!! For anyone who didn't know, one eighth of American citizens have now left the country to live elsewhere.

Your recent public support of gay marriage is very upsetting and only contributes to the increasing moral decline in this country. While I am totally against any bullying tactics I do not condone abnormal (gay) sex and marriage. I am surprised you do not wish to teach your children it's abnormal behavior; however, it's not our place to judge. I know and associate with quite a few "gay" and lesbian couples myself and while I do not hate them I do not respect their lifestyle. I would never try to change them but I would also never glorify or approve of the relationship. It goes against nature. Even animals don't do it. I wonder if you realize what gay and lesbian people do??? How would you like to shower with them while at the school locker room or in our military service? Why do you believe it is now suddenly appropriate to alter what is natural bond between a man and a woman? I don't think you are looking out for the majority of the people who are American citizens. Sexual preference is not a "right" but there is a right and a wrong sexual preference. I believe you are confused and I do not like your way of thinking. What will be considered a person's right next? Pedafiles? Rapists? Those are sexual preferences too. Matters such as this should be kept to themselves.
