Supporting Our Troops & United We Stand, United We Fall

Dear Mr. President Obama,

First of all I would like to say that I think you are a wonderful President and even better American.  Considering the mess you were left with, I feel you have done a wonder job.  I know that others don't feel the same, but don't they understand what damages were done with President Bush in office?  It's takes time and everyone to rebuild an economy.  So again thank you for being such a hands on and keeping the people of the United States well informed.  If they had been as informed while Bush was in office they would understand the task that was left for you to try and achieve.  And maybe that's why they put you in office as the first black man as President.  So that others could say you hadn't achieved all your goals.  But the ones that you did and are trying to do, have been very strong ones.  And I would still like to see you for another term, you are a true American for the people and by the people.  And that is why I felt that I had to voice my opinion for once to someone that can make a difference.

I have been very disappointed in all of us as American's that all say Support Our Troops,  I have been watching the news for several months and it seems more & more when our military have returned home they are being killed, homeless, without jobs, and struggling with trying to return to the life they once had in there beloved homeland.  I can't tell you how disappointed I am and how bad I feel.  I know that you can't do everything on you own, and that you feel that we have honored them.  But what is honor without dignity.  How is it that when they have completed there terms, they are set free without a clue of what is inshore for them?  We need to somehow give them the same if not more when they return.  They get there discharge papers, honors, and a Good Luck Solider, and papers of who to contact if they need.  But are they told of what has been going on here at home when they return.  Probably not as much to prepare them for the struggle they face once they are off their bases.

I feel that if they are given more time in the service, not going off to some foreign country to learn a trade or just to readjust to being a civilian maybe just maybe there won't be so many dying, homeless, confused, angry,  the feeling of what are we fighting for Americans when the country they have gone to serve & protect has done exactly what was happening in the war, just in different ways.

Maybe we should all go back to the basics of life.  Keep everything just for us here in the United States, let these third world countries stay on there end and us in ours.  We have to remember there beliefs and ours are not the same.  They have had these beliefs & traditions all their lives.  They can't be changed, or reasoned with.  Let them fall, and if we weren't buying their oil what would they do with it all, take back all our pipelines that were created by us and see what they do then!!  It may be unrealistic, but they would have a change of heart.

We all need to take a step back in time, readjust mortgages to what properties are actually worth and then readjust payments.  Roll back rental properties as such, reduce everything so the average American can afford their homes, cars, food etc.  Let's rebuild our country the right way. 

Maybe if all our top government officials were making minimum wage or forced to take huge paycuts then we would have extra money in the United States.  Instead of buys produce from other countries let's rebuild our farmland.  Go back to trading with our neighbors in our communities for produce, dairy products, or even just helping one another by banning together as a whole not just self serving people.

All the homes that are in foreclosure that are either owned by banks or government, have a housing lottery within the cities.  Sell tickets for $20.00 Each but only to the families that need them.  With as many tickets that would be sold would more than pay for the home.  Yes I know it's easy for me to make allot of suggestions, but maybe if things were made simpler it would make life easier for all.
