Student loan debt

Mr. President,

I am a 55yr. old woman who at the time of this loan was an alcoholic and a drug addict. That's no excuse for not trying to pay it back because i did try once i got sober 8yrs. ago. I tried just this past year to make payments but with my job being slow at times and trying to pay my bills i fell behind to the point where they are now taking my Income tax and taking 15% of my paycheck. It became so hard for me that i had to give up my apartment and move in with my sister. Because if it were not for her i would possibly be homeless because of this. I guess my question to you is" Is there any possible way that i can be forgiven for this debt? I can't afford an Attorney plus i was told that you can't file Bankruptcy on this debt. This is a 20yr. old debt that is keeping me down. I climbed over my Mountain of addiction with the Lords help now i need YOU and him to help me overcome this last obstacle so that i can begin to live a comfortable life before he calls me home. I hope you can find it in your heart to give me some release or help it would be greatly appreciated! I don't know who else to turn to!

PLEASE HELP!

- Desperate
