Dear Mr. President,
I respectfully offer the following unsolicited advice re: the OBL issue.
There has been lots of chatter about pics and photographic evidence since Sunday's announcement. I sincerely entreat you to ignore all of the noise, and maintain the high moral ground by NOT releasing any pictures of OBL's lifeless body. No good can come of it. It's over and done; let the brave actions of our military and the success of the operation reinforce your decision. There is nothing to the demands for "proof" beyond voyeurism, at best (the term "rubbernecking" comes to mind), and, at worst, vicarious bloodlust. Let the report of OBL's demise be your last word on the matter, and let him sink to his place in history without any further comment.
