obama Cring out for help

• Dear President Obama,

I want to start off by saying, you are the first president that I really feel

actually cares about the people. I see how they fight you on every topic,

that to me have been in our best interst. I admire how you kept your

cool while the mud-slinging was brutal .

            This makes me think you would relate to my stuation. I have a

son who has had a difficult life. He was sexually abused and emotionaly

scared when he was a young toddler. He Had NIght terrors from the time

he was one years old till he was six.  Every time I tried to get him help I

didn't qualify.  He would see demons and spirits which terrified him.

The only relief he had was drinking. He ended up drinking and driving

and getting arrested several times. which he deservered. He met his wife,

and didn,t get drunk any more He had a good job and a had a little girl.

           He and his wife were in a motorcycle accident. she died, and my

son had a 1% chance to servive. Because of his past record the court gave

him 14 years with no good time or perole. four drinks over a four and  a half

hours he should not be over the limit. the guy in the truck said he had three

drinks, and they are trying to tell me he had a zero level. Something does,nt

add up. I think he was inacent of this charge. not to mention the sentence

was extremly harsh.. My son is a very hard worker, and cares for his family

a great deal. the loss of his wife is more than he can bear . He doesn't

remember that night or the night before.  He can'nt rap his head around the

fact they said he was over the limit. Now his daughter looses them both.

It has been hard on all of us . while I know he will serve time, I think he

should get a sentance reduction. He has been through enough  and so

has his daughter.

. He tride to take his own life, and I feel he isn't getting the

help he needs. He is four and half hours away. It is hard to keep a relationship

with his daughter over such a long distance. she was three when it happened.

Here I am again unable to help him,  we filed an appeal but so far nothing is

being done. I think there needs to be more guide lines on who is actually at

falt in cases like this.  because the skid marks on the road prove to me he had

his mind enough to brake. and it looked to me like the guy in the truck pulled out in

front of him. I would like to hear your thoughts on this .
