My Home

Hello Mr. President,

It's a pleasure to write to you, i am a democrat and voted for you and will vote for you again. My name is Ricardo.

I am 43 years old and married with 2 great kids. Daughter 15 and Son 11. I am currently trying to purchase the home where me and my family have been living ever since it was built 9 years ago. My credit and income have suffered due to a loss of employment 3 years ago and i suffered a huge paycut. I want help in buying my home with less then perfect credit and not much for a down payment. i have already given $2,500.00 and i do pay rent of $1,500.00 a month to my landlord. I will do anything to stay in my home, its the home of my kids more than anything. I am attempting to buy the house in a shortsale and need help....I am currently awaiting what the bank decides but my fear is that if they do approve the short sale, will i be able to buy it? i can afford the monthly payment if it comes in around $1500.00 a month but i am very scared of not qualifying. Like i said, We are the only family to ever live in this home and we yearn to stay here...it's our home......Please help or aid me in this process...I know i am just one american out of millions going thru tough moments but, i humbly beg for your help Mr. President.
