Help with paying my student loans

Honorable Mr.President Obama,  

I know that my situation is no comparison to any of the other letters I've read,but this student loan is making my life unbearable.As in my last letter I wrote,I didn't explain fully why I'm asking for your help.Please understand I'm not asking for you to pay for my loan but I'm merely asking for help to pay for my loans which I feel I've paid these loans,but for some reason I still owe $16,000.00.Pres.Obama I graduated in 1987.At that time I was also pregnant and on public assistance.After I had my baby a year later I started using drugs,I had to hit rock bottom and got arrested and spent 10 days in jail.At age 40 i had this rude awakening and with a lot of praying decided to get my life and family back.In 1990 Began to study for my state boards to become a nurse.After three times a charm I passed.In 1993 I got my first real job as a LPN working for Yeshiva University in "substance Abuse",not exactly the area I wanted to start working,but none the less I was quite happy.In October of 1993 I passed probation in my job.I called NYSHEC and started paying my student loans.

I stopped paying for 1 yr.due to the fact my daughters father stood without a job.That was the only time.If my memory serves me well I've been paying ever since,and also to mention I didn't get any state income tax for almost 12 yrs.and at one point my bank account was frozen.I'm now 62 yrs.old and still with hanging over my head.Mr.President after almost 18yrs of paying these loans I feel deep in my heart I don't owe this much!!!I didn't take out loans to become a brain surgeon.To be honest I was using drugs while in college,so I really was taking out loans for drugs.Up until this day I've regret what I did.But that's done with.Maybe I wouldn't be so depress and feel with guilt had I used my loans for a better purpose.I need some legal person to help me find what I really  owe so I can be in peace right I feel I'll before I pay for these loans which I know it's not that amount! I've also been on disability since 9/27/11 due to a fall in which I broke my right wrist.So please Mr.President help me,I've tried to find help but to avail...
