Education

Hello  Mr. President.

I am writing this letter out of concern for the education of our children. I feel that these children have more time out of school then being in school. So many days off during holidays and non-holidays. Children get half of days frequently. If this is the case then how are children going to obtain a good education when they are out of school more then there in school. I believe the schools system should cut down on having to many days off. Why should a child have so much time off and the holidays? Holidays are an enjoyment to children of course but having a long excessive winter break and then spring time another long spring break. I am from the township of East Orange NJ. Lots of students are out of school more then in school. Is there a problem with the school system? Even Newark Schools have too many unecessary days off. This can become a problem most kids do not have anything constructive to do when they have this time off. I recall when i was a kid we did not have as much time off and or having extreme high levels of having half a days off leaving early. What will the kids benefit and how will they learn? What can be done?
