DON'T COMPROMISE AWAY OUR HEALTH RIGHTS

Dear Mr. President,   We volunteered, called voters, organized and financially supported your candidacy so that we could return to an America that cares about people. Please don't betray us by compromizing away our chance for real change to help our people by having a public option (like medicare for all) for us.

Dear Mr. President Obama,Hello, my name is Valita Wells and I am a single mother of three childrens. My issue that I am concerned about is, that all the stimulus money that you sent to Georgia(Athens) I did not see very much progress done with it. For example, the government used the money for roads and street repair, there was nothing wrong with the roads and streets for them to get repaired, besides that the only ones that benefited from that was the people who already had a job with the government. Obama you sent the car makers stimulus bailout packages which was a waste because they still closed down or filed bankrupt, that money could have went on something else too. I worked at a poultry processing plant for almost 13years and they filed bankrupt and had to let some of the salaried workers go and I was among them, now I have been unemployed since 11-18-08.  The government in my opinion, have misused the stimulus money that was given to us because, property tax have went up on everyone an extra $267.00 for this year alone. I thought that the stimulus money was going to help us out with our high unemployment but, it did not. The poultry processing plant in which I worked at will be shutting down October 9, 2009, due to economic issues, meaning 330 people will be unemployed. The economy is so bad, that employers are scared to hire. Could you please comment back for me?Valita Wells
