I am so pleased and immensely relieved the the President chose NOT to release a photo of Bin Ladan's body.
Doing so would (1) become a rallying point for terrorists, inspire more anger and violence on the part of his supporters, and create a "martyr"; (2)portray the American government like kings who hung bodies in the village square or mutilated them in a coliseum; and (3) fail to convince stubborn sceptics of his death.
I suggest that the administration and the media cease to mention his name or talk about him. Milking his name for publicity simply increases his notoriety. The ultimate insult to him and his supporters would be to negate his "presence."
