I AM NOW PAYING MONTHLY PAYMENTS ON CONTRACT I SIGNED. I WOULD NOT BE WRITING YOU BUT THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE IN MY SAME SITUATION...PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THEM DESTROYING PEOPLES CREDIT WITH THIS SCAM...SO MANY PEOPLE I KNOW ARE DISGUSTED AND DON'T EVEN WANT TO PURSUE THEIR EDUCATION NOW...I AM CONTINUING IN COLLEGE AT A LOCAL COLLEGE TO EARN MY RN DEGREE....I AM 42YEARS OLD AND I FEEL BAD FOR THE YOUNG PEOPLE THAT HAVE BEEN SUCKED INTO THIS SCAM...PLEASE HELP!!!!

Dear Mr. President.
I too was mislead about this program and I am left paying for a loan that was misleading . I am 51 years old and 3 years ago I wad looking to further my education in nursing. Being that I was top in my LPN class and good at taking tests, I believed this was for me. I have now come to realize this is just a scam and really needs to be investigated. I know you are a very busy but strongly feel in my heart that this needs looking into. I am not the only person being taken advantage of.

i too was scammed, even after filing bankruptcy after death of my husband, im still being harrassed for payment, for a student loan that is for a place that isnt even a school, that all i received from them was a binder to start first module, and it was outdated, they said i needed an updated one. never did anything with them because excelcior told me they were NOT AFFILIATED WITH THIS CO.

I too was scammed into signing to this program, the sales man was very pushy and when I asked to consider he got pissed and tried again to sell this to me, he promised that I would have access to all the modules and would be able to print them out but if you ever tried.to print them out you would not be able to see the material. I was also promised that if I ever had problems they would send a tutor to my home but when I asked for a tutor they denied it! I spoke to.an attorney already and im filing a class action lawsuit against them especially since they are suing me for over 6000 dollars after I stopped paying. If anyone is interested in joining me my email is pprincess1313@hotmail.com please email me and send me information about your case and how to contact you, the more ppl we have the better the outcome!

I too am a victim of the College Network scam. I am an LPN, 51 years old, SINGLE WORKING MOTHER with a  Son in college. In 2007 I signed up with TCN. The fast talking sales Rep. told myself and another LPN that in appox. 18 months we would be able to sit for the RN boards using Excelsior college as TCN was affiliated with this college. 7 days later I RECEIVED  3 loose leaf binders with photo copied pages when I Called Excelsior college to find out when I COULD TEST OUT,I was informed that they WERE NOT, NEVER HAVE BEEN, NEVER WILL BE associated with Excelsior college. I called TCN to cancel and they said I only had 3 business days to cancel and that was done and over with, that they would indeed take the money out of my account and that they would ruin my credit if I did not pay in full. It is now 2012 and I HAVE PAID OVER 7,000 DOLLARS for nothing. NOT ONE PERSON I KNOW HAS COMPLETED THIS. NOT ONE THAT I HAVE EVER READ ABOUT ONLINE EVEN. IT IS A SCAM FROM THE GET GO. HERE ARE THE REASONS:

1. THEY GET YOU TO SIGN REAL FAST WITH OUT SHOWING YOU THE BOOKS THEY USE .

2. THEY SAY THEY ARE A COLLEGE AND AFFILIATED WITH A LOCAL COLLEGE. TCN IS A PUBLISHING COMPANY NOT A COLLEGE.

3. THEY TELL YOU HAVE 3 DAYS BUT THE BOOKS ARRIVE AFTER THE 3 DAY      RESCIND PERIOD.

4. THEY TAKE YOUR CHECKING ACCOUNT INFO,. USING THE ACH PAYMENT YOU CAN NOT CANCEL IT WITH THE BANK. IF YOU DO IT FOLLOWS TO THE NEXT CHECKING ACCOUNT YOU OPEN.

5. THEY THREATEN TO RUIN YOUR CREDIT.

6. YOU THINK YOUR FINANCING THROUGH THEM WHEN INFACT IT SOME CREDIT UNION AT A HIGH INTEREST RATE MINE WAS 12 %

PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS 7,000 IS A LOT OF MONEY AND I AM ENROLLED IN A COMMUNITY COLLEGE PAYING YET AGAIN FOR MY RN THAT WILL TAKE ME ANOTHER 5 YEARS TO COMPLETE.

I too was scammed. I signed up back in 2006 and tried canceling after being told I could cancel within 39 days. Found out I had to cancel within 3 days! They filed a judgement against me and at 1 point took whatever was in my checking account. I had to file for bankruptcy which has ruined my credit. I would love to finish my RN degree as I only have 4 classes left; however after going through hell with TCN, I refuse to put myself further in debt! Signed from NJ

I, too was instigated by a reassuring and savvy sales rep here in Las Vegas, Nevada. They threatened to file a lawsuit against me. Threatened me on the phone. Have had sleepless nights, nightmares, and palpitations. I am an LPN and was seriously focused on becoming an RN. I called to cancel about a month after I signed up because of a life changing event. They flatly said no. I told them I did not open or take any course yet online. I did not even have a password to say the least to have online access! They said I owe them $9K or more! What a pain! I am seriously considering a class action suit against this perpetrators.

Dear Mr. President

I too became a victim of the College Netowork. Tried to cancel and thought I accomplished it until later found out they had sent my account to RAB Performance who sued me over this account. I have been paying monthly payments as well and missed one payment they are seeking wage garnishment against me. I have obtained my RN and now seeking BSN but that is not the point should my family have to suffer due to this scam.

I am helping a close friend with her situation, I was think small claims, but that is limited. Now I'm thinking class action, I think that our grounds would be valid, based on the simularties of the complaints I have read. I think I would spead to an attorney and include the school that introducted many of you to this fraudulant company. Did Barak ever respond to the original complaint?

Ooooh You know the Average Black IQ in America is 85 and Sub Sahara Africa it's 70. Man originated in Africa and evolved to a higher level. What remained in Africa was the crap that still has monkey like resemblance (butts that stick out, etc) Read up on it if you can read.

I am a single mother of a 6 year old trying to finish my RN. LPN wages are not enough in this economy let alone paying for a college that does not support their students nor give them what they need to take RN boards. Please take into serious consideration the scam that TCN has placed among us. I am prepared to fight to the end to get out of this "program." I have paid for almost a year and I am fed up with them telling me "im sorry ma'am, but theres nothing I can do for you." Someone suggested a lawsuit....where do I get info on this?
