Catholic Church's stand on Insurance

President Obama,

I am 73 years old and I am a lifetime Catholic.  I have never written to a President before but I feel I have to at this point.

The Roman Catholic Church does not value women or their health care at all.  I am extremely disappointed that you have backed down on the health care involving birth control and abortion.  Please do not allow the Roman Catholic Church or any other religious affiliation to rule what you feel is in the best interests of the people of the United States of America.  The Catholic Church is crying that you and the Democratic party are against their religion.  That is not true.  The Roman Catholic Church cannot dictate policy for the people of the United States.  They can only tell people who go to their churches what the rules are of their religion.  They cannot and should not be allowed to dictate to the whole country their beliefs.

Thank you for allowing me to express my feelings on this matter.
