Assisting family in not losing their home.

Dear President Obama ;

My husband and I have a possibility of losing our home, We have paid for our second modification. The first was in 2009, to assist with interest, possibility of adding principle to monthly payment. The lower interest rate, (7.25 to 4.25) was accepted However, principle was not included. Our second modification was to have the bank add principle, and lower interest rate. This is being refused. Our house, we could not sell and purchase another home. The home would sell for less then balance, and we would not have money for another home. We cannot refinence, do to home balance, and prices of homes now. The bank stated that we pay our monthly morgage. This does not mean that we can continue to pay a third of our monthly income. lowering the morgage would be helful.

We also have a second mortgage. Our bills for our home is being paid now. Our medical and medication bills are hard to keep up with. Food is up in prices monthly. My husband will be needing foods for his medical condition (diabetics). This home needs repairs. We can't afford to pay with our current mortgage, and home bills. It would be appreciated for the bank to lower our morgage, and add the principle to the interest, with affordable monthly mortgage. We can't work, due to age, and medical problems. we are retired. We can not afford to pay for another modification. The bank will not agree with our depression letter, with other needs. To lose this home would put us in despreration.
