A Call to action for Solar Energy now!

                       To the President of the United States of America.
President Obama, Sixteen people signed this letter, and that letter is on the way to you now.
Please consider that our situation in terms of fuel is getting worse, and despite what one may or may not believe about global warming, our fuel is a finite, and as such is a dwindling resource. Any movement toward an energy policy which includes an increased emphasis on solar energy makes solid sense in the coming years. Please make this happen for us on a timetable that is not measured in decades. As a man of science I can assure you that it will only get harder, seeing as the infrastructure producing solar panels currently depends on fossil fuels.  Solar is a sure bet, we know what we are getting, and while cold fusion holds promise, and I strongly support that effort, it seems prudent to begin investing heavily on photovoltaic installations now. Please accept my respectful plea to begin this in earnest, as Germany has done, with simple economic incentives. Thank you very much Mr. President.
