Fighting Terrorism with Schools

Dear President Obama,
Please read the article in this past Sunday's Parade magazine about Greg Mortenson's effort to fight terrorism with education.  http://www.parade.com/news/2009/11/22-fighting-terrorism-with-schools.html Before making your decision about sending more troops to Afghanistan, please consider how much good one man, Mortenson has done and then consider how much more good we could do if our military was charged with education and promoting peace rather than fighting for peace.
You inherited some many difficult conditions when you became our president.  However, you did promise to get out of this war we are fighting and that is why my vote went to you.  So please stand by your word.
