We The PeopleIn order for me to from a common ground, with all due respect, i shall use these selective quotes from my idol, George Carlin.  The reason i am doing this, is so that you may chose to read, watch or embrace what i have the right to infrom you as an american citizen. We are the power, We are the people, and together..WE SHALL TRIUMPH."You will not hear me say "bottom lime", "game plan", "role model", "scenario", or "hopefully". I will not "kick back", "mellow out", or "be on a roll"! I will not "go for it", and I will not "check it out". I don't even know what "it" is!"'I promise not to refer to any as a "class act", a "beautiful person", or a "happy camper""Well, I know some people don't like you to talk about those things, I know that. Some people don't like you to mention certain things. Some people don't want you to say this, some people don't want you to say that. Some people think if you mention some things, they might happen. Some people are really fucking stupid."....            I'll start with something that's proved it's innocence time and time again.Cannabis, Marijuana, Dope, Pot, Weed, Green. Which of these two terms would you agree, seem most calming dipictured at thought? Opinions are what have powered the negatives of this plant that has originated from our mother earth...But what are the negatives again? "It makes you dumb!", or "It kills people!", or possibly the all popular, " The government say it's illegal, so it should be!." Well let me say this, as far as im concerned it does not in any way decrease your brain size, Through history there has been NO RECORDED DEATHS, and if something that you can grow for free restored (Heal, Invigorate, Re-establish, Nurtured) such things that are popular with the many diseases today; Anxiety, Nausea, Upset Stomach, Diahrehha, Headache, Backache etc. The government WOULD prohibit it, than regulate it. Why you ask? Because if something you can grow for free in your own backyard did those things, our government would lose out on the tax money it takes from our very pockets, replacing 99.5% of all the harmful drugs we encounter today, that have ACTUALLY killed people. Therefore, they prohibit it so in the end, they are in absolute control, because without our tax money, the can't "opertate"...But wait...aren't we supposed to have the power? The citizens of this country. I'm almost positive it's stated in our Constitution. The preamble clearly states; "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America." So where is our say in this? I seriously do not recall a citizen saying, " You know what, this plant from the earth we've originated from kills people, and is downright disorderly. I petition to make this illegal to our fellow citizens, so that we may prosper as a nation. So together, let us bring this to the attention of our american government, and save the world."You may chose to induce the plant in any way it has presented itself, Hemp, Medicinal, Religious, or Recreational. It's disorderly to say we as American citizens have not the right to decide on the future of this plant, that has once again proved it's innocence over time. It's a choice, a choice we as citizens of this fine nation deserve because it is our birth right, amd our responsibility to survive as a race, and also a planet.I've experienced something i'd like to share with you. On September 24, 2009, i was invited to go to Reed City, Michigan by my friend, William (Billy) Quartz, to go to a cabin he owns on Lake Todd. When we arrived there after the 4 hour drive, i was amazed by the beauty at first sight. We took the luggage in, changed our clothes, and began our mission. We entered Reed city with the greatest of ease, rememebering to remain respectful, honest, and mannerly. We were in search of Marijuana. In our purple attire we addressed town-folk and asked thim this exact question," We are looking for a special plant, a triumphant plant, it's name is Cannabis." To our surprise they seemed to be uneducated on it's genus name. We received replices such as, " There's a greenhouse in town, they might know the plant you speak of." So Billy and I walked around town, following strange clues by our intuition. We had know knowlegde of direction in this small town, but for some reason, it felt right. We walked into this dollar store and grabbed the attention of these two completely random individuals. We asked them the same question, and they gave us the same response. After talking for a few, we were informed, and taken aback, that this man we have never met before was Billy's Grandfathers best friend. With this strange coincidence we said our goodbyes and continued to follow more clues. There was this water facility these clues led us to, coincidentally surrounded in purple flowers ( We were mathing purple, remember?) We entered and approached the secretary and asked her the same question we had been asking all day. To our surprise, the owner of the greenhouse actually walked in directly behind as, as we received our response. We asked him the same question and he replied, " You can come by and check out the greenhouse if you'd like." How nice...an invitation. after 30 minutes of walking, we found this plantstore/ greenhouse. Patterson's Plantstore. There was a sign in front of the store that said, ' Share your feelings with Patterson's Plantshop". We entered the store and again asked the same question, in a mannerly fashion. They simply said they didn't have that in the store, but they would give us a tour of the plants they did have. Nice plants, but no Marijuana. We left the store and continued to follow our intuition. These strange clues once again revealed themselves to Billy and I. So we followed them. These clues were different though. For everytime we took a right turn on the streets, Lincoln, Franklin, Jerrerson, Todd, and Huckabee, a car would honk 3 times as it passed us. This happened a number of times. Clues led us back to Patterson's Plantshop once again, but this time...something struck me with awe. Billy had pointed out to the right of the plantshop was a garage that had my actually middle name Engraved above it. Intruiged, we entered the store for the second time. Same Mannerly Fashion, respectful and polite. We had told them of the weird coinsidences we've faced, and they seemed to beleive us, but simply couldn't understand. Billy asked the one lady in the store," Are we bothering you? Should we leave?" And she said no, that things strange occur all the time, and we left the store...but more clues were ahead of us.Now this time, or intuition led us on a different path, but brought us direclty back to patterson's plantshop. For this 3rd time Billy and I, Mannerly and Respectful, entered the store and decided to inform the ladies of our interesting day. They seemed to beleive us, but it was a ruse. As were leaving a Reed City Police officer approached us. He asked immediatly," Are you High?!" We said no, because we weren't..we were looking for marijuana to GET high in the first place. He clamied to smell it, and said he would call the drug dogs. We insisited that he should proceed, mainly because in all honesty, we had done nothing wrong. Five other Poilice cars arrived to the scene, seperating me from billy, so they could see if our stories were different in anyway. We told them our stories word for word, the very words you've been reading...and honeslty the ignorance and the audacity these so called law enforcers showed us was unreal.The Cop asked me again after I explained my story,'' Do you have Marijuana?" I said no once again. I asked him, " Did i do anything wrong officer? Am i free to go?" He said i was acting disorderly. I asked how. He said I was being disorderly and strange for asking about a plant....in a plant store 3 times. Sure Marijuana is illegal, but let me finish. He said i was acting like a moron. My honesty wasn't enough. I told the officer that i was a smart person, and being disorderly, ESPECIALLY in a city i've never been to, was something I couldn't do. He said i was lying, again. I told him that i got a 29 on my ACT test ( I really did) and i asked him what he got on his. He replied,'' That's not important, I'm a cop and you're not!" I said, don't judge a book by it's cover sir. This made me laugh. He tried to pull the race card on me, I'm african american by the way. He said; '' You calling me racist?!" I said racism is just a word to me, don't try to make me upset so you have a reason to arrest me. After taking down my information, he told me what my crime was.This cop insisted that it's unorderly to enter, even when invited, into a public establishment and ask a question about a plant 3 times even when it pertains to shop itself. Remember the sign i mentioned earlier that was in front of the store? " Express Your Feelings with Patterson's Plantshop'' I pointed that out to him and he shouted,' Your Being Disorderly!'' In quick response i asked again..HOW?! He could only say It was strange from me to walk into a store 3 times asking about a plant. So i gave him this example, saying. '' If i decided to rub mustard on the door of this store, you could arrest me correct?" He nodded. Then I said, ' Then why the hell are you trying to arrest my and my friend for entering a plant shop 3 times asking about a plant as a citizen with rights to do so. He was silent. He looked away from me towards the other officer talking to Billy. I heard what was being said, and it goes exactly like this;Billy: Officer, have i done anything wrong? Am i free to go-Policeman: Shut your mouth!Billy: I have to pee sir, why are you being so mean? this was said. as god as my witness.Policeman: Well, why aren't you being mean?Billy: Well you're a cop, i should respect you.Policeman: Well, you shouldn't!Not realizeing what he said, the cops looked at eachother and simply let us go, after all the trouble. They searched Billy's truck, and found nothing. As we were leaving i asked the cop to shake my hand, and i said sorry for what happened. He said, " I don't want to shake you're hand." I asked him again.' Please sir, shake my hand''. Hesaid no again. Then i told him to be a man and shake my hand. He ignored me, and walked away....See? There is no solid reason why the government enforces the prohibition of marijuana. It was an opinionated standard that was applied so our politicians could get more money in their pockets. OUR money in their pockets. Our 4 fathers would be crush at the horrible results of their dream of a free country. We as a nation, have to stand for our rights that were given to us. The rights we fight for and stand for everytime we say we beleive in the american dream. Our preamble was strong at one time, and still is, but only on paper. Where's the justice? We have to unite as a nation, a race, so that we may once again prosper in the strand of humanity. The Preamble to the United States Constitution is a brief introductory statement of the fundamental purposes and guiding principles which the Constitution is meant to serve. In general terms, it states, and courts have referred to it as reliable evidence of, the Founding Fathers' intentions regarding the Constitution's meaning and what they hoped it would achieve..We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.Our rights, or nation, our flag...our dream. Let's restore what they died for, what they lived for, and what they will see live to the expectaion.After reading this, I ask one simple question. And for you're response. " Should Marijuana Be Illegal?"As citizens, with our rights, we can change our nation for the better.
