We Need Health Care

By Anonymous - Posted on 06 August 2009

Dear Mr. President,
Most Americans consider ours the greatest nation on earth, yet we have inadequate and substandard health care. More than 30% of the American population is uninsured and among those who have medical insurance, they often find themselves under-covered in the cases of catastrophic circumstances due to the policy of recission.
I applaud your efforts to push legislation through to grant Americans a public option for health care coverage and hope that we can go further one day. I find the arguments that you are not bi-partisan rather specious, and in fact often think you go too far the other way. I understand that the political climate is delicate due to the economy, but I am sick and tired of Democrats not standing up for the needs of their constituents in debates of public policy.
As an American citizen without health care, I am imploring you to continue to fighting for what I consider to be a basic human right.

Dear Mr. President, I applaud your efforts to push legislation through to grant Americans a public option for health care, I believe it will promote lazyness, the people have un-employement ins. now health care, plus SSI, ok I'll just stay home send me my food stamp. There must be a better way, Ive talk to some European they pay 60% TAXES, I don't want to be tax 60-70%, If you want to help the people get the money from somebody else, Like your deep pocket, OK
